Clear iPhone cache: Get rid of Safari and device cache storage for a faster process for everyone

Clearing cache can be something a person will do for their computers and web browsers, most of which have this feature available for Android devices on their storage controls or recent apps. However, it is not so evident in the iPhone, especially since it does not have this feature available for users.

Nevertheless, it is always important to clear cache of Apple smartphone as it also gathers cached data from different apps especially Safari browser.

One method previously mentioned by TechTimes focuses on “offloading apps” in the iPhone Storage tab of the iOS Settings app, regardless of version. Still, one wouldn’t want to offload apps if they’re in use, as that would be tantamount to uninstalling the device, and needing to use it would cause it to be reinstalled through the App Store.

For a different approach, for users who want to clear the cache of their devices to remove all existing cached data and improve the process of their smartphones, there is a way to do it without dumping.

Users just need to restart the iPhone via the Assistive Touch, simply by going to Device > More > and clicking Restart.

According to Apple, users can use the button on the sides, including the volume down button and the power button for iPhone X, 11, 12 and 13.

This would clear the cache of the device and help it run faster than before.

iPhone Web Browser Cache: Clear It on Safari

On the other hand, users can do this on their web browsers, especially with Safari, if that is the app they commonly use to surf the internet on their smartphones. It’s also fairly easy to do, with several methods available in the device’s settings or through Safari’s settings to help them clear their storage.

According to CNET, it’s important to do this at least once a month, especially to see significant changes and performance improvements for the device.

One method focuses on iPhone settings, and users need to go into the app and access the dedicated Safari settings available there.

From the Safari page, scroll down to see “Advanced” and choose “Website Data”. Users will also need to scroll down from here and search for “Delete Website Data” and choose delete now.

On the other hand, users can choose “Clear history and browsing data”, which will get almost the same results for the procedure.

Why is it important to clear the cache?

It is important to clear the cache regularly because this data is stored in the device and over time there would be no significant help or performance improvement to meet the needs of their application or their Navigator. Essentially, this cached data will only clutter the device, take up storage, and affect RAM which concentrates on the process and track of the iPhone.
