Have you received low storage warnings on your Android TV device?

David Imel / Android Authority

Android TV or Google TV is the most popular TV box platform, also powering a host of smart TVs. Between the Google integration, the variety of apps, and the somewhat open nature, there are plenty of reasons to use the platform. However, these devices often come with a paltry amount of storage.

Luckily, Google recently rolled out a new Google TV update to fix the issues. This update includes an option to quickly free up storage space as well as an adjustment to reduce storage-related errors when installing apps. This got us wondering if readers were getting low storage warnings on their Google TV or Android TV devices. So let us know by taking the survey below.

Obviously, this question is primarily for people who own Google TV/Android TV boxes or TVs. So go ahead and ignore the survey if you don’t have these devices in your household.

As for me? Well, I have an Nvidia Shield TV tube and I get low storage alerts every few weeks at least. It doesn’t help that I accidentally bought the wrong microSD card for the device. Still, I hope the “free up space” option in the new Google TV update eventually lands on Nvidia devices.
