WE all want our homes to look clean, well thought out and spacious.
How to achieve this look, however, is a question that many of us don’t have the answer to.
Organization expert and life coach Jaime Hayes, of Bethesda, MD, says there’s an easy way to make your closet cooler and less cluttered.
Jamie told TikTok, where she goes by @organizelifecoach, that her advice “completely changes how you feel about your clothes” once you make that change.
“Switch to uniform hangers,” she said.
In the reveal, Jaime showed the difference between a closet full of plastic, wire, and fabric hangers, and a closet stocked with everyone that matches.
Viewers loved the idea:
“Great advice! Makes such a difference,” one person wrote.
“Things you learn,” added another.
As for another way to declutter your closet, lifestyle content creator Leah Mari shared her denim “folding hack” to help people fit their clothes into the smallest of spaces.
“It’s the details to make your clothes fit your space,” Leah said as she tucked her items into storage bins.
For denim bottoms, she said:
“You have to unbutton the top and fold it in three to evenly distribute the material.”
After that, fold the shorts in half to occupy the height of the drawer and thus use less space.
As for sweaters, cotton basics and sweatpants, Leah said they should also be folded rather than hung.
