Knick-knacks, clothes, and other bedroom essentials can be tricky to put away.
But a pro organizer has revealed how to reduce the clutter that often accumulates around your bed.
On her YouTube dedicated to decluttering, Cassandra Aarssen, who goes by ClutterBug on social media, shared a find that will give you extra storage space in your bedroom.
Aarssen suggested a bedside organizer that slips between the mattress and box spring.
“I love them because all that random little clutter that ends up on top of my bedside table that makes it hard to dust has a home now,” she said.
“It’s really easy to slip into, and handy if you’re short on space or don’t have a bedside table.”
Plus, it’s inexpensive and you can get one on Amazon for just $7.99.
Another professional organizer explained how to maximize space in a small apartment in three simple steps.
Expert Caroline Kahn advised adding risers to kitchen cabinets wherever you can install them.
Since the risers act as shelves, you can use the extra space you now have in the cabinets for dishes and utensils.
Kahn also suggested using hanging organizers in closets.
She uses them to efficiently organize all of her cleaning supplies.
And the last thing Kahn suggested was attaching hangers over the door and floating shelves on your wardrobe doors.
The organization expert uses the hangers to hold her pot lids and measuring cups.
