Logitech portable cloud gaming device

Games are constantly evolving with better graphics, higher frame rates, and new technologies. Now, with Cloud Gaming, streaming and storing games has become easier, but games on cloud gaming platforms can only be played on PCs, consoles or smart TVs at the moment. Recently, Logitech, a gaming equipment company for PC and consoles, announced that Tencent, a Chinese publisher, was its new partner in a future project. The two companies have come together to create a portable cloud gaming device.

People play cloud gaming together.

“Logitech G’s leadership in PC and console gaming gear makes it an ideal partner to help us achieve our vision of delivering a better gaming experience to gamers around the world,” said Daniel Wu, Director General of Tencent Games Smart Solution Innovation Lab. “As someone who grew up playing video games, the idea of being able to stream and play AAA games almost anywhere is super exciting, and we can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been working on. “, said Ujesh Desai, general. manager of Logitech G.

The console will be able to support regular games as well as multiple cloud gaming platforms like Xbox Cloud Gaming and NVIDIA GeForce NOW. This is good news for gamers who want to play games while traveling but don’t have an internet connection. It has not been specified whether the portable device will be able to include all the services offered by cloud games, such as live streaming. But the portable cloud console will not need to have pre-downloaded or installed games to access certain games. The device will connect to the gaming cloud platform and all purchased games will be ready to play. This eliminates the hassle of storing and transporting game cartridges and the device can be used anywhere without the need for a TV or PC.

If the device is a hit in the mainstream market, we could see a change in how games can be purchased. I think cloud gaming is more profitable for businesses than creating, shipping, and distributing multiple game cartridges to different retailers. With cloud gaming, creators can publish the game digitally and completely eliminate the need for retailers. Retailers, don’t panic, as the device is still in the development phase and no one knows how many tests need to be done before the device is ready.

There’s also the question of how many consumers are willing to play games on a smaller screen. The biggest downside to most portable gaming devices is the screen size. In my opinion, when it comes to gaming, having a bigger screen is better. I’ve owned mostly handheld gaming systems, but the first time I played on a console I was amazed at the bigger picture quality. It was easier for me to read maps, see paths and fight my enemies. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to quickly dismiss the idea of having a portable cloud gaming device. If this new device can play cloud games without needing an internet connection, I could see myself buying one. I have games on my PC that I would like to play without needing a computer or console.
