Motorola’s latest budget device, the Moto E22i has been launched

Motorola, a sub-brand of Lenovo, has announced the launch of a new budget device with Dolby Atmos technology, a first for the Motorola E line with the Moto E22i.

The Moto E22i has been described by the company as offering a whole new level of high-end entertainment at an incredibly accessible price thanks to the inclusion of Dolby Atmos-enabled stereo speakers.

Speaking at the Moto E22i launch, Kurt Bonnici, Motorola’s Head of Australia and New Zealand said:

The Moto E22i comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display (1600 x 720 @ 269ppi) powered by an Octa-Core processor (4xA53 2.3GHz + 4xA53 1.8GHz) MediaTek Helio G37 alongside a IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU at 680 MHz, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of integrated storage which can be expanded to 1 TB via a microSD card.

In terms of cameras, the Moto E22i comes with a dual rear camera consisting of a 16MP main camera lens and a 2MP depth sensor lens, while the front camera is 5MP which should still suitable for insta or social media selfies.

The Moto E22i runs Android 12 (Go Edition) right out of the box and comes with a 4020 mAh battery, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) , Wi-Fi access point, Bluetooth version 5.0 and a fingerprint sensor and a USB-C port and a 10W charger.

The Moto E22i in Graphite Gray and Winter White colors via the following retail partners such as JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks, Big W, The Good Guys, Mobileciti and Lenovo.com.au for $179. It will also be available via Vodafone from November 16, but the price has not been confirmed.
